The Contract
On ordering blinds you will be entering into a legally binding contract.
When ordering from New Dawn Blinds we will process the order only when the goods that have been ordered have been paid for in full by credit or debit card. Our bank handles the payment system and all of your card details are passed directly to them at the point of ordering. Only your order details are passed to us, not any financial details
The order process will begin 24 hours after placing the order. Your blinds will then go into production at New Dawn Blinds and on completion, delivery will be made by courier.
As all blinds are tailor made to your specific measurements, they are not a re-saleable item. For this reason you have the right to cancel your order within the first 24 hours of placing the order, or make any adjustments or amendments.
Pricing
The total price for your blinds will appear at the checkout and on the order confirmation you will be sent. All these prices are inclusive of VAT.
Order Cancellation by You
All blinds are tailor made to your specific requirements based on the measurements that you have supplied. The process of manufacturing your blind will commence 24 hours after placing the order. If you wish to cancel or make any adjustments this must be done within 24 hours of placing the order. After that time the fabric cutting and trackmanufacture will commence and we will then not be able to stop the process, and the full order amount will still be payable. If you wish to cancel the order within this stated period, you should contact us by email, fax or telephone , we will then refund your payment and notify that this has taken place by email.
Order Cancellation by Us
New Dawn Blinds reserve the right to cancel your order if:-
• If the fabric chosen has been discontinued
• You are ordering from outside the UK
• Any errors occur due to failure of the web-site or database.
In the event of New Dawn Blinds needing to cancel an order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason.<
Delivery
Our blinds will be delivered by courier to the address stated on the order and will require a signature on delivery. We endeavour to deliver your goods as soon as possible which is usually within 7 – 10 working days of receipt of your order. If at the time of delivery by the courier you feel that the packaging has suffered any damage or bending – Please sign for the goods as >DAMAGED/ UNCHECKED. Please check upon receipt of delivery that all goods are defect free and all parts are complete
Damaged or Defective Blinds
In the unlikely event that you find that you blind is defective (NOT SIZING)
Please contact us within 3 days of taking delivery (giving full details of the
problem).
You may contact us by telephone, Email or Fax. – See About Us section We will take details of the problem and advise you of the action we intend to take.
If the problem is caused by courier damage we will send out a replacement as soon as possible. We will need to arrange for collection of the goods by courier for examination.
Product Description & Measurements
The samples reproduced on our web-site are as a guideline only. The images will
differ from computer monitor to monitor as the resolutions differ and will not
give an exact colour match.
These images are the property of New Dawn Blinds Ltd and may not be reproduced
by downloading or copying.
We therefore strongly recommend that you send for samples - using our free sample
service.
We will send you a maximum of 5 samples by post.
Privacy Policy
All the information collected from you during the ordering process will only be used by New Dawn Blinds. We may use the information to send out current offers or products unless you specify otherwise. We do not share your details or give any information to third parties.
